Activities

  • Plant a Flower: Let's start by planting a flower together. Dig a small hole, place the seed inside, cover it with soil, and water it gently.
  • Counting Seeds: Count out different numbers of seeds and plant them in rows. Practice counting while planting your mini garden.
  • Science Exploration: Observe the different parts of a plant and discuss how plants grow. Look closely at the roots, stem, leaves, and flowers.
  • Physical Education in the Garden: Play a game of "Plant Tag" where you pretend to be seeds growing into plants. Run around and stretch like growing plants!

Talking Points

  • Plants Need Care: "Plants need sunlight, water, and soil to grow big and strong like us!"
  • Counting Seeds: "Let's count together as we plant each seed in the ground. 1, 2, 3, and so on!"
  • Roots Hold Plants: "Just like our feet keep us standing, roots hold plants in the ground and help them get water."
  • Plants Make Oxygen: "Plants make oxygen for us to breathe. They are like nature's air purifiers!"
