Activities

  • English: Write a short story about a fashion designer creating a new collection. Include descriptions of the designs and the inspiration behind them.
  • Math: Calculate the cost of materials needed to create a fashion item. Include fabric, buttons, zippers, etc. Create a budget for your fashion project.
  • Science: Research the science behind different fabrics. Learn about natural fibers like cotton and silk, as well as synthetic fibers like polyester. Create a chart comparing their properties.
  • Social Studies: Explore the history of fashion in different cultures. Pick a country and research traditional clothing styles and the significance of certain garments.
