No prior music knowledge required, just a love for sharks!

Activities

  • Singing Shark Songs: Sing songs about sharks together. Make up silly shark lyrics to familiar tunes.
  • Dance like a Shark: Move and dance around the room like a shark swimming in the ocean. Use big arm movements and make shark fin shapes.
  • Shark Drumming: Use your hands or a pot as a drum to make drumming sounds like a shark's heartbeat. Encourage the student to drum along with you.
  • Shark Sound Effects: Make shark sound effects together using your voices. Roar like a shark or make splashing sounds like a shark swimming.

  • Music can help us imagine sharks: "When we listen to music and make shark sounds, we can pretend to be sharks swimming in the sea. Let's make some shark music together!"
  • We can have fun with music and sharks: "Music can be so much fun, especially when we use it to pretend to be sharks. Let's keep exploring music and sharks together!"
