Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to build a Lego building using your imagination and creativity.
Materials and Prep
- Lego bricks in various sizes and colors
- A flat surface to build on
- A timer or clock
Prior to the lesson, make sure you have a clean and organized space to build your Lego building. Sort the Lego bricks by size and color to make it easier to find the pieces you need.
Activities
- Brainstorming: Spend 5 minutes thinking about what kind of building you want to create with Legos. It can be a house, a skyscraper, a castle, or anything else you can imagine.
- Building Time: Set a timer for 20 minutes and start building your Lego building. Use your creativity and problem-solving skills to construct the structure. Remember to use different colors and sizes of bricks to add detail and make it visually appealing.
- Show and Tell: Once the timer goes off, take a moment to admire your creation. Explain what inspired you to build this particular structure and any interesting features you included.
- Reflection: Write a short paragraph reflecting on the building process. What challenges did you encounter? How did you overcome them? What would you do differently next time?
