Activities

1. Animal Home Matching: Match the toy animals to pictures of their homes.

2. Draw Your Own Animal Home: Use paper and crayons to draw a home for your favorite animal.

3. Animal Home Hunt: Imagine you are an animal and find a cozy spot in your home to rest.

Talking Points

  • Animals have different types of homes. For example, birds live in nests in trees. You can say, "Look at the bird in its nest. It built the nest to keep its eggs safe."
  • Some animals live in burrows underground. You can say, "The rabbit digs a burrow to hide from predators and stay warm."
  • Animals like fish live in water. You can say, "Fish have gills that help them breathe underwater. That's why they live in the water."
  • Each animal's home is special and helps them survive. You can say, "The bear's den keeps it warm in the winter. It's like a cozy bedroom for the bear."
