• Long ago, people called Egyptians built huge pyramids as tombs for their kings and queens. They believed in many gods and goddesses. Say: "Did you know that Egyptians built big triangle houses for their kings and queens?"

• The Romans were great builders and warriors. They built a huge amphitheater called the Colosseum where they watched gladiator fights. Say: "Romans loved watching fights in a big round building!"

• In medieval times, brave knights protected castles from dragons and enemies. They wore shiny armor and rode horses. Say: "Knights wore shiny clothes and rode on horses to protect castles!"
