Activities

1. Activity: Mining for Resources

   In this activity, you will pretend to be a Minecraft character mining for resources. Use your arithmetic skills to solve the following problems:

   • Problem 1: If you find 6 diamonds and share them equally among 3 friends, how many diamonds will each person receive?
   • Problem 2: You come across a cave with 24 iron ores. If you collect half of them, how many iron ores will you have?
   • Problem 3: You need to craft 8 golden apples, and each apple requires 4 gold ingots. How many gold ingots do you need in total?

2. Activity: Building Structures

   In this activity, you will use your arithmetic skills to plan and build structures in Minecraft:

   • Problem 1: You want to build a house with 5 rooms. If each room requires 7 wooden planks, how many wooden planks do you need in total?
   • Problem 2: You have 36 stone blocks and want to build a tower. If each level of the tower requires 4 stone blocks, how many levels can you build?
   • Problem 3: You want to create a farm with 16 rows of crops. If each row can hold 9 crops, how many crops can you plant in total?
