Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will have explored different subjects and had fun learning about Art, History, Math, Music, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies!

Materials and Prep

Materials: Paper, coloring supplies, music player, a ball, a book about dinosaurs, and a globe.

Prep: Make sure you have a clear space to move around for the Physical Education activity.

Activities

1. Art: Draw a picture of your favorite animal using the coloring supplies.

2. History: Read a book about dinosaurs and share one interesting fact with your family.

3. Math: Count how many times you can bounce a ball without dropping it. Try to beat your own record!

4. Music: Listen to different types of music and dance along. How does the music make you feel?

5. Physical Education: Practice your balancing skills by standing on one leg for as long as you can.

6. Science: Use the globe to find different countries and learn one fun fact about each.

7. Social Studies: Draw a picture of your family and write one thing you love about each person.

  • Art: "Art allows us to express our creativity. What colors will you use to make your animal come to life?"
  • History: "Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. Can you imagine what the world was like when they roamed the Earth?"
