Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will understand and appreciate God's creations through simple science activities.
Materials and Prep
Materials needed: paper, crayons, magnifying glass
Prep: None
Activities
1. Nature Walk: Take a walk outside and observe the plants, animals, and insects. Use the magnifying glass to look closely at the details.
2. Drawing Creations: Have the student draw their favorite thing they saw on the nature walk and explain why they think God made it.
Talking Points
- God created all the plants and animals around us. You can see how amazing they are when you look closely with the magnifying glass. Say: "God made the beautiful flowers and the buzzing bees."
- When you draw your favorite creation, think about how God made it special. Say: "God made the colorful butterfly fly so gracefully."
