Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will learn about water and its importance in our lives.

Materials and Prep

  • A glass of water
  • A small bowl
  • A toy boat (optional)
  • Prepare some ice cubes (optional)
  • Be ready to get a little wet and have lots of fun!

Activities

  • Water Exploration: Play with water in the bowl, feel it, and splash around. Describe how it feels and what you see.
  • Float Your Boat: Place the toy boat in the water and observe how it floats. Try blowing on it gently to make it move.
  • Ice Experiment: If you have ice cubes, put them in the water and watch how they float and eventually melt.
