Materials and Prep
- A computer or tablet with Minecraft installed
- Pen and paper
- Printed Minecraft-related images or screenshots
- Access to online Spanish-English dictionary (optional)
Activities

Start by discussing Minecraft with the student. Ask them about their favorite aspects of the game and what they enjoy doing in it.

Show the student printed Minecraft-related images or screenshots and ask them to describe what they see in Spanish. Encourage them to use basic vocabulary words like "casa" (house), "árbol" (tree), "personaje" (character), "herramienta" (tool), etc.

Play Minecraft together in Spanish mode. Encourage the student to explore the game while using Spanish words and phrases. For example, they can say "Hola" (Hello) when encountering an NPC, or "Gracias" (Thank you) when receiving an item.

Ask the student to write a short paragraph in Spanish describing their favorite Minecraft creation or adventure. Provide them with a list of useful phrases to include, such as "Me gusta" (I like), "Es divertido" (It's fun), "Mi personaje se llama" (My character is called), etc.
