Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to prepare a simple and delicious pasta dish from scratch.

Materials and Prep

  • Tomato sauce

  • Spices (salt, pepper, Italian seasoning)
  • Cooking utensils (pot, pan, spatula)
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Apron and hair tie
  • Basic cooking skills (chopping, sautéing)

Activities

  • Pasta Prep: Learn how to cook pasta al dente by following package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Veggie Medley: Chop the vegetables into bite-sized pieces and sauté them in a pan with olive oil until tender.
  • Protein Power: Cook the protein separately and season it with your favorite spices.
