Activities

  • Create a drawing of your favorite natural disaster (e.g., volcano eruption, tornado, earthquake) and explain why you find it fascinating.

  • Research online about a natural disaster of your choice and write down three interesting facts about it.

  • Build a model of a natural disaster using paper and colored pencils. Be creative!

  • Earthquakes: "Earthquakes happen when the ground shakes. They can be scary but scientists are working hard to understand them better."

  • Volcanoes: "Volcanoes are like mountains that can explode with hot lava. Some volcanoes are active, while others are sleeping."

  • Tornadoes: "Tornadoes are swirling winds that can be very powerful. They can pick up things and move them around."

  • Hurricanes: "Hurricanes are big storms with lots of rain and strong winds. They form over oceans and can cause a lot of damage."
