Objective
Audrey will build her knowledge and use of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 vocabulary through interactive activities, wide reading, and writing. By the end of the lesson, Audrey will be able to define and analyze words effectively.
Materials and Prep

- Book or reading material with a variety of vocabulary
No prior knowledge required. Just bring your enthusiasm!
Activities
- Vocabulary Scavenger Hunt: Search for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 words in a book or reading material. Write down the words and their meanings.
- Word of the Day: Choose a new word each day to learn, understand, and use in a sentence. Keep a vocabulary journal to track your progress.
- Story Writing: Create a short story using at least five Tier 2 words. Share your story with someone and explain the meanings of the words you used.
