Objective

Materials and Prep

  • Play money (coins and bills)
  • 3 jars labeled "Save", "Spend", and "Donate"
  • A piggy bank or a clear jar for visual savings
  • Paper and pencil

No prior knowledge needed, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!

Activities

  • Create a pretend store where you can price items and practice making change using play money.
  • Start a savings jar and set a goal for something you want to save up for. Decorate the jar to make it fun!
  • Play a game where you have to make decisions on how to spend your money wisely. For example, choosing between buying a toy now or saving for a bigger toy later.
