Before the lesson, it’s helpful to know some basic facts about Bahrain, such as its location in the Middle East, its capital city (Manama), and its famous landmarks like the Bahrain Fort.

Activities

• Color the Bahrain Flag: The student can color a printable version of the Bahrain flag. Discuss the colors and shapes while they color.

• Map Exploration: If using a map or globe, show the student where Bahrain is located. Help them find their own country and compare the sizes.

• Dress-Up Time: Use clothes or fabric to create a traditional Bahraini outfit. Talk about how people dress in Bahrain and what special occasions they wear these outfits for.
