Objective
By the end of this lesson, Grace will have a deeper understanding of the themes, characters, and magical elements in the Harry Potter series. She will also create her own magical creature and write a short story featuring it, enhancing her creativity and writing skills.
Materials and Prep

Activities

Character Exploration:
Grace will choose her favorite character from the Harry Potter series and write down three traits that define them. She can also draw a picture of the character and describe why she likes them.

Magical Creature Creation:
Grace will invent her own magical creature. She will write a description of what it looks like, what powers it has, and what its favorite activities are. This will encourage her imagination and creativity.

Short Story Writing:
Using the magical creature she created, Grace will write a short story (1-2 pages) where her creature goes on an adventure in the Wizarding World. This activity will help her practice her writing skills while having fun.
