Activities
- Read the Fable: Together, read the story of "The Frog Prince." Discuss the characters and plot as you go along.
- Character Drawing: Have the student draw their favorite character from the story, whether it's the frog, the princess, or even the king.
- Act It Out: Choose a scene from the story and act it out together. One can be the princess and the other the frog.
- Write a New Ending: Ask the student to write a new ending for the fable. What if the frog turned into a prince but then decided to stay a frog?
After reading, ask the student what they thought about the story. Did they like the frog? What would they have done in the princess's place?
Encourage them to think about what colors they would use and why. This helps them express their understanding of the characters.
