Activities

Roblox Number Hunt: Create a scavenger hunt in a Roblox game where the student must find and collect items that represent large numbers (e.g., 1,000 coins, 10,000 points). After collecting, they will write down the numbers and identify the place value of each digit.

Rounding Challenge: In the game, set up a challenge where the student must round various large numbers they encounter. For example, if they find 7,845 coins, they must round it to the nearest thousand (8,000) and explain how they did it.

Build a Place Value House: Using Roblox, challenge the student to build a "place value house" where each room represents a different place value (ones, tens, hundreds, thousands). They can decorate each room with examples of numbers that fit into that category.
