By the end of this lesson, Anahera will understand the basic biology of horses, their historical significance in society, and how they have been used in different cultures around the world. - Horse Breed Research: Anahera can choose 3 different horse breeds to research. She can write down their characteristics, habitats, and any interesting facts about each breed. This will help her learn about diversity in the horse world.
- Timeline of Horses in History: Create a timeline that highlights major events involving horses, such as their domestication, their role in wars, and their use in agriculture. Anahera can illustrate this timeline with drawings or printouts.
- Creative Drawing: Anahera can draw her favorite horse breed, paying attention to its physical features. She can label the parts of the horse in her drawing, such as the mane, tail, and hooves, to reinforce her learning.
- Horse and Human Relationship Discussion: Anahera can write a short essay or paragraph about why she thinks horses are important to humans and what they mean to her personally. This will help her reflect on her feelings and connection to horses.
