Objective
By the end of this lesson, E will have a basic understanding of different cultures around the world, including their traditions, clothing, and food. E will be able to identify at least three different cultures and share one fun fact about each.

Activities

Culture Hat Parade:
Have E create a "Culture Hat" by drawing and decorating a hat that represents a different culture. Discuss what the hat symbolizes and what people from that culture might wear.

World Food Tasting:
Talk about different foods from around the world. Pretend to taste foods from three different cultures and describe what they might taste like. Use your imagination!

Story Time from Around the World:
Read a short story or tell a folk tale from a different culture. Discuss the main characters and what makes that story special to the culture it comes from.

Dance Around the World:
Play music from different cultures and have a dance party! Teach E simple dance moves that represent different cultures.

- "Did you know that people in different countries wear different clothes? What do you think they wear?"
- "Every culture has its own special foods! What is your favorite food? Do you think it’s different from other countries?"
- "Stories are important in every culture. What is your favorite story? Why do you like it?"
