Objective
By the end of this lesson, Jax will understand the major organs of the human body, their functions, and how they work together to keep us healthy and active.
Materials and Prep
No additional materials are needed for this lesson. Just make sure Jax is ready to learn and have fun! You might want to prepare some space for movement activities and discussions.
Activities
-
Organ Charades:
Jax will pick an organ from a list and act it out without speaking, while you guess which organ it is. This will help him remember the organs and their functions in a fun way!
-
Body Map:
Using a large piece of paper, Jax can draw a simple outline of a human body. He can then label the major organs and write down their functions next to them. This will help him visualize where each organ is located and what it does.
-
Organ Relay Race:
Set up a small obstacle course where Jax has to run to different stations that represent different organs. At each station, he can learn a fun fact about the organ before moving on. This combines physical activity with learning!
