Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will understand basic concepts of building and creativity in Minecraft, as well as how to collaborate with others in the game. They will create their own unique structure and share it with a family member or friend.
Materials and Prep
- Minecraft game (Java or Bedrock Edition)

Before starting, make sure the student has access to Minecraft and understands the basic controls. It’s also helpful to have a quiet space to focus on building.

Brainstorming Session
Have the student take 10 minutes to brainstorm ideas for what they want to build in Minecraft. They can draw sketches or write down their ideas in the notebook.
-
Building Time
Set a timer for 30 minutes and let the student start building their chosen structure in Minecraft. Encourage them to think about different materials and designs.
-
