Objective

Materials and Prep

Before the lesson, ensure that Minecraft is installed and working properly on Haven's device. Familiarize yourself with the game mechanics and basic controls, as well as any specific topics you want to cover in each subject area.

Activities

• Art: Create a Minecraft Masterpiece

  Haven will use Minecraft to build a piece of art, such as a sculpture or a landscape. She can take screenshots of her creation to share and discuss what inspired her design.

• English: Write a Minecraft Adventure Story

  Haven will write a short story about an adventure she has in Minecraft. She can include characters, a plot, and a resolution. This will help her practice her writing skills.
