Objective

By the end of this lesson, Haven will have explored various subjects through the lens of Genshin Impact, enhancing her understanding of English, foreign languages, history, math, music, physical education, science, and social studies. She will also create a character profile that integrates her learnings from each subject.

Before the lesson, familiarize yourself with the main characters of Genshin Impact and their unique abilities, as well as some historical and cultural references within the game.

Activities

• Character Profile Creation: Haven will choose her favorite Genshin Impact character and create a detailed profile. This includes their background, abilities, and how they relate to different subjects like history and science.

• Language Exploration: Haven will learn a few phrases in Mandarin or Japanese (languages associated with the game's inspiration) and practice using them in sentences related to her character.

• Math Challenge: Using the character's abilities, Haven will create a math problem. For example, if a character does 150 damage per hit and attacks 3 times, how much total damage do they do?

• Musical Composition: Haven will create a short tune inspired by her character's theme. She can either hum it or use a simple instrument if available.

• Physical Activity: Create a mini obstacle course inspired by the game’s landscapes. Time how long it takes to complete and discuss ways to improve speed and agility.

• Science Discovery: Research one element from the game (like Pyro or Hydro) and discuss its real-world counterpart in nature, such as fire or water. What makes these elements important in science?

• Social Studies Discussion: Explore the cultures that inspired Teyvat (the world of Genshin Impact). Haven can present what she learns about one culture and its significance.
