Objective

Materials and Prep

  • Optional: toy frogs or pictures of frogs

Activities

  • Activity 1: Frog Coloring
  • Provide the toddler with paper and crayons. Encourage them to draw and color their own frog. Talk about the different colors and shapes they can use.

  • Activity 2: Frog Facts
  • Using the internet or books, show the toddler pictures of different types of frogs. Share interesting facts about frogs, such as their ability to jump and their habitat in ponds or wetlands.

  • Activity 3: Frog Sounds
  • Play audio or video recordings of frog sounds. Help the toddler imitate the sounds and discuss how frogs communicate with each other.
