Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify different types of cheese and relate them to their favorite Minecraft blocks, while also engaging in creative play that combines both interests.

Materials and Prep

Activities

• Cheese Block Building:

  Using their imagination, the student will create their own Minecraft world using cheese as the building blocks. They can pretend that each type of cheese is a different block in Minecraft, like cheddar for a wall and mozzarella for a roof!

• Minecraft Cheese Hunt:

  Set up a mini scavenger hunt where the student has to find different "cheese blocks" (which can be imaginary or drawn) hidden around the house or yard, just like finding resources in Minecraft!

• Cheesy Minecraft Stories:

  Encourage the student to tell a story about their Minecraft character going on an adventure to find the best cheese in the world. They can include obstacles and friends they meet along the way!
