Activities

• Animal Adaptation Research: The student will choose an animal they find interesting and research its unique adaptations. They can write down key facts and draw a picture of the animal, highlighting its adaptations.

• Adaptation Charades: The student will pick an animal and act out its adaptations without using words. This could include mimicking how the animal moves or showcasing its camouflage. Others can guess which animal it is!

• Design Your Own Animal: The student will create a fictional animal that has adaptations suited for a specific environment (e.g., desert, rainforest, arctic). They will draw the animal and write a short description of its adaptations and how they help it survive.
