Materials and Prep
- Paper
- Colored pencils or crayons
- Pencil
- Access to a computer or tablet (optional for research)
Before the lesson, it might be helpful to watch a short video about Mosasaurs to get the student excited. You can find many fun videos online that show what they looked like and how they lived!
Activities
-
Mosasaur Drawing: The student will draw their own version of a Mosasaur. Encourage them to be creative! They can add fun colors or even give it a silly expression.
-
Story Time: The student will write a short story about a day in the life of a Mosasaur. What does it eat? Who does it play with? This will help them use their imagination!
-
Mosasaur Facts Game: Create a fun quiz game where the student can guess if a statement about Mosasaurs is true or false. For example, "Did Mosasaurs live in the ocean?" (True!)
