Objective

By the end of this lesson, Renee will understand the basics of building and creating in Minecraft. She will learn how to gather resources, build a simple structure, and express her creativity through the game.

Materials and Prep

Before starting the lesson, make sure that Minecraft is installed and ready to play. Discuss with Renee what she would like to build, and encourage her to think about her favorite game elements!

Activities

• Resource Gathering Challenge

  Renee will start by exploring her Minecraft world to gather essential resources like wood, stone, and food. Set a timer for 10 minutes to make it exciting!

• Building a Simple House

  Using the resources she gathered, Renee will design and build a simple house. Encourage her to think about how she wants her house to look and what materials she will use.

• Creative Decoration

  After building the house, Renee can decorate the interior and exterior with items like flowers, torches, or furniture. This is a chance for her to express her creativity!
