- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring cups and spoons

Activities
-
Measuring Ingredients:
Start by measuring out each ingredient using the measuring cups and spoons. This will help the student understand how to measure accurately and why it is important in cooking.
-
Mixing the Batter:
Once all the ingredients are measured, mix them together in the mixing bowl. Encourage the student to stir until everything is well combined. This is a great way to practice mixing skills!
-
Baking Time:
Help the student pour the batter into the baking tray and place it in the oven. Discuss how the oven works and the importance of adult supervision when using it.
-
Cooling and Tasting:
Once the baking is done, let the treats cool on a cooling rack (if available). After they have cooled, enjoy tasting the delicious results of your hard work!
