Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand and use vocabulary related to "The Airman" while enhancing their dictionary skills and creativity through fun activities.
Materials and Prep
- A copy of "The Airman" (if available) or a summary of the story.
- A dictionary (can be a physical book or an online resource).
- A notebook and pencil for writing.
- Art supplies (colored pencils, markers, etc.) for creative activities.
- Preparation: Familiarize yourself with key themes and vocabulary from "The Airman."
Activities

Word Hunt:
Using the dictionary, the student will search for five interesting words related to aviation or adventure found in "The Airman." They will write down the definitions and use each word in a sentence.
