Materials and Prep
- None needed for this lesson.
- Make sure to choose a comfortable, quiet space for the lesson.
- Plan to go outside if the weather is nice, to observe fall changes in nature.
Activities
-
Nature Walk:
Take Aarsin outside for a nature walk. Look for colorful leaves, acorns, and other signs of fall. Ask Aarsin to collect some interesting leaves or small items that represent fall.
-
Fall Colors Art:
Using the collected leaves, create a fun art project. Aarsin can glue the leaves onto paper to make a fall collage. Discuss the different colors and shapes of the leaves while creating.
-
Story Time:
Read a short story about fall or a favorite book that features fall themes. After reading, ask Aarsin what he liked about the story and what he learned about fall.
-
Fall Songs:
Sing a fun fall-themed song together. You can make up a song about leaves falling or animals preparing for winter. Encourage Aarsin to join in and add his own verses!
