Materials and Prep

• Colored paper (orange, black, purple, and white)
• Child-safe scissors
• Glue stick
• Markers or crayons

Before starting the lesson, ensure that the scissors are safe for the child to use. Prepare a clean workspace where the child can spread out and create comfortably. Have a few examples of Halloween crafts ready to inspire the student.

Activities

• Halloween Pumpkin Craft

  Using orange paper, help the child cut out a pumpkin shape. Then, they can glue on green paper for the stem and draw a happy or spooky face with markers or crayons.

• Spooky Ghosts

  Cut out ghost shapes from white paper together. The child can decorate the ghosts with markers, giving them funny faces or spooky expressions. Hang them up with string if desired!

• Witch Hat Collage

  Create a witch hat using black paper. Help the child cut out a triangle for the hat and a rectangle for the brim. They can decorate it with stickers or drawings to make it unique.
