Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to identify and describe key elements in a Blippi book, and develop basic reading comprehension skills.
Materials and Prep
- A Blippi book (any book featuring Blippi that is suitable for kindergarten level)
- A comfortable reading area
Activities

Introduce the Blippi book to the student, discussing the cover and title.
Ask the student to predict what the book might be about based on the cover.

Read the book aloud to the student, pointing out and discussing key elements such as characters, setting, and events.
Pause occasionally to ask the student questions about the story, encouraging them to make connections and predictions.

After reading, engage the student in a discussion about their favorite part of the book and why.
Encourage them to use descriptive language to express their thoughts and feelings.

Have the student create their own Blippi-inspired story or drawing, using their imagination and the elements they learned from the book.
Assist as needed and provide positive feedback on their creativity.
