Objective

By the end of this lesson, Daniella and Alisia will explore the themes of adventure and nature through various subjects, culminating in a creative project that reflects their learning about the holiday at Blue Dolphin in Filey.

  • Math: Budgeting for a Holiday - Daniella and Alisia will create a simple budget for their holiday. They will list potential expenses like food, activities, and souvenirs, and total them to understand how to manage money.

  • Physical Education: Beach Games - They will create a mini-Olympics with fun beach games they could play at Blue Dolphin, like a sandcastle building contest or a relay race.

  • Science: Marine Life Exploration - They will learn about the marine life found around Filey, such as dolphins and sea birds. They can draw pictures and write fun facts about these animals.
