Materials and Prep
- Paper for writing
- Pencil or pen for cursive writing
- Access to a list of countries (can be printed or written out beforehand)

Before the lesson, ensure you have a list of countries ready for the student to choose from. Familiarize yourself with basic facts about these countries to help with discussions.
Activities
- Cursive Country Names:
The student will choose 5 countries from the list and write each country's name in cursive. Encourage them to focus on their handwriting and make it as beautiful as possible!
- Country Facts:
After writing the names, the student will research one interesting fact about each chosen country. They can write these facts in regular print below the cursive names.
- Creative Postcards:
The student will create a postcard for one of the countries they wrote about. They will write a short message in cursive, describing why they would like to visit that country.
