Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will understand basic concepts of architecture and design through building structures in Minecraft. They will also learn about teamwork and problem-solving while collaborating on a building project.
Materials and Prep
- Minecraft game (Java or Bedrock Edition)
- Computer or gaming console with Minecraft installed

- Notebook and pencil for planning designs
Before the lesson, ensure that the student has access to Minecraft and is familiar with basic controls. It may also help to have a discussion about different building styles and structures in real life.

Design Your Dream House
The student will sketch a design of their dream house on paper. They can think about the layout, number of rooms, and special features like a pool or garden.

Build Your Dream House in Minecraft
Using their design, the student will enter Minecraft and start building their dream house. Encourage them to use different materials and be creative with their choices.

Collaborative Build Challenge
If possible, invite a friend or family member to join in a multiplayer session. Together, they can build a community or a themed area, practicing teamwork and communication skills.
