  • Prepare a comfortable space for activities, ensuring it's safe and free of distractions.
  • Be ready to engage with the student and encourage their creativity!

Activities

  • Color Hunt:

Go on a color hunt around the house or yard! Ask the student to find objects of a specific color. For example, "Can you find something red?" This will help them identify colors in their environment.

  • Color Mixing:

Use imaginary mixing! Ask the student to pretend to mix colors. For example, "What happens when we mix red and blue?" This encourages them to think creatively about colors.

  • Color Art:

Let the student create a colorful masterpiece! Encourage them to use their favorite colors and explain why they chose them. This promotes self-expression and color recognition.

  • Color Dance:

Play music and have a color dance party! When a color is called out, the student dances using that color's name as a fun way to reinforce learning through movement.

  • "Look around! Can you find something blue? Great job!"
