Objective

Activities

Color Hunt: Take a walk around your home or yard and look for objects of different colors. Ask the student to point out items they see and name the colors. For example, "Can you find something red?"

Color Sorting: Gather a few toys or household items of different colors. Ask the student to sort them into groups based on their colors. You can say, "Let's put all the blue things together!"

Color Art: Use crayons or markers to draw pictures using only one color at a time. Encourage the student to name the color they're using. You can say, "What color are you using now?"

- "What color is this? Can you say it out loud?"
- "Look at that flower! It's so pretty and it's (color). Can you find something else that is (color)?"
- "Let's count how many (color) things we can find! One, two, three!"
