Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and name different colors, recognize their importance in everyday life, and express their favorite colors through fun activities.
Materials and Prep
- Colorful objects around the house (toys, clothes, books, etc.)
- Paper and crayons (or any coloring materials available)
- Space to move around for activities
Before the lesson, make sure to gather a variety of colorful objects and set up a comfortable space for coloring and activities.
Activities

Color Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around the house to find objects of different colors. Ask the student to name the colors as they find them.

Color Mixing Fun: Use crayons or any coloring materials to mix colors. For example, ask the student what happens when they mix red and yellow.

Favorite Color Drawing: Ask the student to draw a picture using their favorite color and explain why they chose that color.

Color Dance Party: Play music and have a dance party where the student can dance with their favorite colored objects. Encourage them to show off their colors while dancing!
