Counting with Fingers: Start by showing your fingers. Count to 5 together by pointing to each finger as you say the numbers. This helps the student visualize the number 5.

Find 5 Objects: Ask the student to find 5 items around the house, like toys, books, or blocks. As they collect them, count each item together.

5 Jumping Jacks: Get some energy out by doing 5 jumping jacks together. Count each jump out loud to reinforce the number.

Draw 5 Things: Use paper and crayons to draw 5 stars or 5 flowers. After drawing, count them together to see how many there are!
