- Have a list of common colors ready to discuss: red, blue, green, yellow, etc.
Activities
-
Color Hunt: Take a walk around your home or yard and look for objects of different colors. Ask the student to point out items they see and name their colors.
-
Color Sorting: Gather various colored items (toys, clothes, etc.) and have the student sort them into groups based on their colors. This can be done on the floor or a table.
-
Color Drawing: Encourage the student to draw a picture using their favorite colors. Talk about the colors they are using and why they like them.
-

- "Look at all the beautiful colors around us! Which one do you like the most?"
- "Why do you think this color is special? What makes it your favorite?"
- "Let’s make a rainbow with our colors! Can you name all the colors of the rainbow?"
