Activities

  • Counting with Fingers

    Start by showing the student one finger on each hand. Ask them to count along with you. You can say, "Let's count to 1 together! One!"

  • One Special Object

    Ask the student to find one special object in the room, like a favorite toy or a book. Say, "Can you show me one of your favorite things?"

  • Draw the Number 1

    Encourage the student to draw the number 1 in the air with their finger and then on a piece of imaginary paper. Say, "Let's make a big number 1 together!"

  • One Animal Game

    Play a game where you each take turns pretending to be one animal. Ask, "Can you be one lion? Roar like a lion!"
