Materials and Prep

Activities

1. Story Time

   Start by telling a short story using simple language. Use characters that the student knows or loves. Ask them questions about the story to engage them.

2. Character Creation

   Let the student create their own character by describing what they look like, what they like to do, and what adventures they might go on. Encourage them to use their imagination!

3. Story Drawing

   Ask the student to draw their favorite part of the story or their created character. This helps them express their ideas visually.

4. Act It Out

   Choose a scene from the story or from their character's adventure and act it out together. This makes the story come alive!
