Objective

- Water and clear cups
- Food coloring (red, blue, yellow)
- Paintbrush or sponge
- Paper towels for cleanup
Before the lesson, prepare a space where the student can explore colors freely. Ensure all materials are easily accessible and safe for use.
Activities

Color Hunt
Take a walk around the house or yard and look for items of different colors. Ask the student to point out objects and say their colors aloud.

Mixing Colors
Using the cups of water and food coloring, show the student how to mix primary colors to create secondary colors. For example, mixing red and blue to make purple.

Color Painting
Provide the colorful paper and let the student use the paintbrush or sponge to create their own colorful masterpiece. Encourage them to use different colors and mix them together.
