Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will understand the concept of mechanical efficiency in simple machines, specifically pulleys. Activities

Single Pulley Experiment: Set up a single pulley system with the string and weight. Measure how much force is needed to lift the weight and record the distance lifted. Calculate the work done and discuss the efficiency of using a single pulley.

Double Pulley Experiment: Create a double pulley system. Repeat the process of measuring force and distance. Record the results and compare them to the single pulley experiment. Discuss how the efficiency changes with the addition of another pulley.
