Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the historical context of various Pokemon characters and relate them to real-world historical events.

Prior knowledge of Pokemon characters and basic understanding of historical events is helpful but not required.

Activities

  1. Research: Choose one Pokemon character and find out if it has any historical inspiration. Write a short paragraph explaining the connection.
  2. Create: Design your own Pokemon character based on a historical figure. Draw and color your creation, and write a brief description of its historical significance.
  3. Present: Share your research and creation with a family member or friend. Explain the historical context of your chosen Pokemon character and how it relates to real-world events.
