Materials and Prep

• Pokemon cards or a Pokemon video game
• Pencil and paper
• Basic knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Activities

1. Choose a Pokemon card or a Pokemon from the video game.

   Write down its current HP (Hit Points) and attack power.

   Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division operations using the HP and attack power.

   Record the new values after each operation.

2. Create a battle scenario between your Pokemon and another Pokemon.

   Use the new values you calculated to determine the outcome of the battle.

   Write down the result of the battle and explain your reasoning.

3. Create a Pokemon team with multiple Pokemon cards or characters from the video game.

   Calculate the total HP and attack power of your team using addition or multiplication.

   Compare your team's total values with a friend's team and determine which team would win in a battle.
