Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will create a personal dream board that visually represents their goals and aspirations. This activity will encourage self-reflection and help them clarify what they want to achieve in various aspects of their life.

Materials and Prep

  • Paper (any size)
  • Pens or pencils
  • Magazines or printed images (optional)
  • Scissors (if using magazines)
  • Glue or tape (if using magazines)

Before the lesson, ensure the student has a quiet and comfortable space to work. Discuss the concept of dream boards and what they represent in terms of personal goals and dreams.

Activities

  1. Brainstorming Session:

    Begin with a brainstorming session where the student lists their dreams and goals in different areas of their life, such as career, health, relationships, and personal growth. Encourage them to think big and write down everything that comes to mind.

  2. Visual Representation:

    Using the paper, pens, and any images from magazines, the student will create a visual representation of their dreams. They can draw, write affirmations, or cut out images that resonate with their goals. This is a great opportunity for creativity!

  3. Reflection and Sharing:

    Once the dream board is complete, have the student present their board to you. Ask them to explain why they chose specific images and what each goal means to them. This reflection will help reinforce their commitment to their dreams.
